My dad is 75 this year and thinks he's Superman. He does everything and goes everywhere. He used to be a paratrooper in the army and he once worked for Al Capone. He's panned for gold and loves to hike. He's doing better and is up to walking 2 miles a day again. His goal is to get back up to 5.

My dad wants to travel the world and I know he will some day.

My dad's birthday is...well, tomorrow. :) Bramwell was born at the end of January. :)

Ducky, do you want me to see if the girl who got Ann and I tickets can pick up one for you and you can go with us? (I'll pay.) I should warn you though that it will involve stage door stalking and we are staying at a hotel for the night. (also included in my offer to pay.) And I can't promise not to ask him to sign my butt. ::nods:::

Oh wow. that is quite an offer. I can't thank you enough for even thinking an offer like that, let alone saying it out loud. I'd absolutely love to go, you really have no idea how much. I must admit that I'm not totally sure if I could actually afford the plane ticket across "the pond", as it were, to actually go. I fear I may be stuck in Pennsylvania unless you know where I can get a really cheap international flight. (You wouldn't happen to by the way? lol) By the way, I feel like I would love your dad if he was my dad. He sounds fun! Plus, I always wanted to be friends with a superhero. :thumb

:::Laughs::: I always say it's crazy my parents got together. My father worked for Murder Inc. and my mum was in training to be a nun. Odd pairing, but they've been together for 57 years now.

OMG, Who last night!!!! I thought this was probably one of the best eps I've ever seen.

Can't wait for the season finale next week.

I'll have to Sky+ it as I'm out seeing Within Temptation, Avenged Sevenfold and Iron Maiden at Twickenham. Image

It's going to make for a very interesting ep next weekend, not just for Who but for Torchwood and Sarah Jane.
