Hello everyone!

Before 14th? Well there's ONE day I can do then LOL. Thursday this week I am off work for the day.. other than that I am working this week.. and next week I can only do Tuesday, which IS 14th.... Monday is actually Andy's Birthday too.. so I don't really think I could go that day! LOL.. Plus of course it's Easter Monday, and I suspect everyone is familyish.. But This Thursday would be OK..

Lizzie it sounds like your band is doing very well..! Are you competing soon?

I've been out this afternoon and bought a new dress, as we are off to a wedding on Saturday. Ollie is very excited as it's the first wedding he's ever been too.. and we got him a suit.. LOL.. he wants to wear it all the time now! LOL..

Hopefully we should be able to be competing next year. We've a lot of preparations to go through but if we work hard another year, we should be able to come forth with a decent medley next year. We'll see what happens.

Row, of course you know we'll be wanting pictures of you in your new dress and Oliver in his suit. I bet he'll look very smart in it!

I've been home with a nasty cold for an entire week and am only allowed to go back to work this Thursday. I'm immensely bored and can't stand the sight of another cup of rosehip tea with honey! And I don't like that I can't go to rehearsal...

I keep getting sidetracked by real life - dunno how, it's not as though my real life was all that interesting apart from the odd trip - but anyway here I am if you'll take me back into the fold.

Kew Gardens look lovely, Ann.

Just before Easter I managed to venture south of London -gasp - and realised that previously I'd only passed through on the way to Dover or Gatwick. So, it's exotic unknown territory .Checked out Sussex University with the youngest and he'd better work bl**dy hard and get his grades because I really liked Brighton and would love an excuse to keep visiting there.

I've also been to Switzerland seeing our little grandson and taken DH on a "romantic" break to Edinburgh.

Meanwhile, totally obsessed with LOST and rewatching all the past series looking for clues.

And very excited about the new series of Ashes to Ashes. I feel in the mood for some nishing...

Brighton makes me think of Sweeney Todd's Mrs. Lovette singing "By the sea Mister Todd".. Have you met them on the beach?

We are considering going to England this summer with the family again. We were there 8 yrs ago with two girls, just before I got to know you... then our third girl was born, then I came back with Helen 5 yrs ago and met you...

I am not sure when and where it would be, and I apologize in advance if we won't manage to meet old friends... it's hard to make plans for five people in different ages.. but I'm excited to be there again anyhow...

I've been very busy with life.. as you can tell.. I built a gazebo/cat run last weekend..

I'm starting Karate tomorrow. The kids decided they wanted to try it and as there is a family class, they talked me into it.

We're all booked now for our holiday in the US this summer. I'm really looking forward to it and I know the kids can't wait. 16 weeks today and we'll be there!

Well I am sitting in my gazebo in my dressing gown, watching the cats play.. and feeling a bit chilly.. but considering it's April, the weather is fantastic! Do you think we'll get a summer this year? Or is this it?

Karate was great fun. It surprised me that I could actually get into some of the stretch positions and not hurt the next morning.

Yes, we're going to Florida. We're going up to spend a few days with Laura and her family before heading down to Orlando, Disney and then on to Washington DC. I shall be gone for nearly three weeks. I can't wait!

Hi girls. Real life is indeed too cruel on us! I've been busy with the band and writing a whole new practice book from scratch and in Dutch. It's now finished and counts over 30 pages.
From now on and at least until half June, I'll be doing something every weekend. In May, I'm going for quite a walk twice. One is 14 km long, the other 12 km but as I need to work on my condition and love walking, I'm already looking forward to it!

Earlier today, I've gone out and bought a pair of sandals. It must have been 20 years since I last wore those and I'm quite happy about it.

When did I stop having a life? Oh that's right about two months ago. I've missed you!

Oh my, it's been a while since I posted here. Well, last week, I went on some sort of pelgrimage (though I did for the fun of it and not for the religious part) and ended up with a major blisters on each of my little toes and one of my big toe. One week later, the blister on the little toe of my right foot still hasn't healed so I got the doctor in and it's a serious infection. The kind that can only be fought with penicilin... to which I'm allergic of course. Good part is that I'll be home for three days but I just hope that it'll heal properly because I don't want to lose my toe or worse...
