It's Christmas eve!!!

This has been Oliver all day! It's been slightly manic here... but Andy has taken him off to a Christingle Service this afternoon.. so I have had some peace and been able to have a nice relaxing bath..

It's fairly sedate here at the moment, the kids don't seem too excited. The gifts are all wrapped and under the tree and, as far as I am aware, no-one has prodded or poked at anything yet.

The kids are enjoying tracking Santa via Norad, http://www.noradsanta.org/en/home.html so that's a nice bit of fun for them, especially as neither of mine believe in Santa.

Everything's done here. have already fullen into a stupefied sleep on the sofa after too much wine at tea-time but now have woken up and just posting before bedtime.

Mom is now having a wee nap before she does her kitchen magic. She'll call me into the kitchen in due time to assist when necessary but until then, I'll just stand by and set the table. Now, I'm listening to one of my Christmas presents, a piping CD or what did you think. LOL!

We had a nice Christmas eve last night. Mom knocked over her wine glass twice and even when we thought it couldn't get much worse, she knocked over her glass of water as well. I had drank my wine and needless to say, the incidents had me giggling like mad. Today we had breakfast and lunch nicely together and thus far, haven't had anything spectacular happen.

I hope you all had a really great Christmas. We did, despite the entire world descending on us for Christmas Day, 10 at the table and it seems MANY more in the living room! LOL.. I have no idea why I cleaned and hoovered, as by 12.30 the place was a tip! Ah well... I think everyone had fun.

We got a Wii as a family pressy and have been doing nothing else all yesterday! My arm now aches from being totally beaten at Wii tennis.. Andy is the pro in our family.. and I'm totally crap.. LOL.. still it's fun. We made Wii me's of everyone we know today, and I have been playing all of them in Wii baseball this afternoon whilst Andy gently snored on the sofa and Ollie cheered me on from the other side of the room.. great fun.. LOL.. Now Ollie is shooting things on the Wii, and I decided I'd wake up the mac..

Now I think it's time I had another chocolate... pass me the wine... cheers... no work for another 6 days.. yay!

We were just four on Christmas Day (first time for about 12 years!) but did enjoy ourselves in a laid -back way!
